So far the year has been filled with some slight changes in terms of stone trends, but the theme of 2024 still remains consistent: light tones are in. Yes, we are still finding light tones to be very popular, but these light tones have Earthy hues rather than the true white colour people were after in the past couple years.
The cream and beige colours have started to b

ecome more prevalent. Tones like our Everest and Aspen which have some cream and greys have really taken off.
From our natural stone veneer line, our FDL country and Columbia are have remained top sellers. These two styles have been consistently used with a cream mortar joint and often been used with an overgrout to give a more rustic feel to the project.

We have also seen a slight shift away from the sleek modern look with people moving back to the look of traditional masonry with more irregularity and profile to the stone. The squared edge and flat face will always be a beautiful look but the overall feel of these projects is more cold rather than traditional masonry, which does give off a more inviting and homey vibe. This has resulted in our ledge/cobble, cobblestone, ledgestone, and fieldstone really becoming more popular. From our natural stone veneer line, our country and falls collection have also seemed to take off.
All this being said, styles never change overnight but we have definitely seen a shift away from the black and white houses that took over the last 10-15 years. We've seen a shift from the straight lines and sharp edges look to a more traditional feel. The soft lines and calm tones of stone seem to be where we are headed. Let us know how we can help because you never want to be late on a trend.
